Tip leads to arrest for dog shooting in Brazil

A man was arrested in Belford Roxo, Brazil, on Friday for shooting his neighbor's dog, thanks to a tip from the "Linha Direta com Canella" hotline. Police responded swiftly to the tip, locating and arresting the man, known as "Velho do Rio," at his home. The man allegedly shot the Pitbull with a .32 caliber revolver after being annoyed by the dog's barking. The dog's owner expressed gratitude for the quick action of the police and the hotline. The dog survived the shooting and will undergo surgery to remove the bullet.
