Tim Allen's father, Gerald M. Dick, died at age 11 when killed by a drunk driver in a 1964 traffic collision. Gerald Dick was a real estate agent and father of six, who was taking his family to a football game when the accident occurred on I-70 in Colorado. Allen, who has often been called "America's Dad," recently announced he has forgiven the driver, inspired by a similar act of forgiveness by Erika Kirk.
