Three women rescued after 15 hours lost in Kerala forest

Three women missing in a dense forest in Kerala for over 15 hours were rescued early on November 29, 2024. They had lost their way while trying to escape elephants after searching for a missing cow. The women, aged 64, 56, and 46, were found about 6 kilometers into the forest. A large search operation involved forest officials, police, fire services, and local volunteers, who worked through the night. All three women were reported to be in stable condition after their ordeal. They were taken to a local health center for a check-up before reuniting with their families.
