Therapy horse Rosie stolen in Axedale, Victoria
A therapy horse named Rosie has been stolen from a property in Axedale, near Bendigo, Victoria. The horse was taken between Monday night and Tuesday morning this week. Rosie is a black and white gypsy cob mare. She has helped over 100 children with disabilities in the past two years. The horse is valued at $40,000. Police are looking for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage. They are especially interested in footage showing a vehicle towing a horse trailer in the areas of Axedale, Heathcote, Strathfieldsaye, or Bendigo during the night of the theft. Leading Senior Constable Dan O'Bree said this crime has hurt many vulnerable young children. He stressed the importance of Rosie to these kids and expressed the hope that she would be returned safely.
