A theft occurred at the Chaithna institution in Kurukshetra on Monday night, where burglars broke locks on the main gate and three rooms, causing significant damage but escaping with only about 700-800 rupees in cash. The institution has been providing free education to underprivileged children for nearly 30 years. Burglars also damaged two almirahs completely. Anil, in his police complaint, stated that due to ongoing construction, cash and valuables were stored securely, limiting the thieves' haul. Police officer Satish from the Third Gate police post inspected the scene and collected evidence. Authorities are reviewing nearby CCTV footage to identify and arrest the suspects soon.
