Théâtre du Rideau Vert and CALQ launch arts residency for deaf and disabled artists in Quebec

A two-year partnership will establish a new arts residency at Théâtre du Rideau Vert exclusively for deaf and disabled artists. The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and Théâtre du Rideau Vert are launching this initiative to foster a more inclusive artistic community. Applications open in winter 2026 for five-month residencies in 2027 and 2028. This marks the first CALQ residency solely for deaf and disabled artists, supporting theatre creation and offering a $30,000 grant.
