The Witcher 3 modding community embraces Halloween with new seasonal mods
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt modding community has released numerous Halloween-themed mods as October begins. These mods transform the game into a fall setting with pumpkin patches, spooky decorations, and seasonal quests, enhancing the game's atmosphere for players. Notable mods include "Fall Is Coming," which changes the landscape colors, and "Halloween at Crossroads Inn," which decorates a key location with Halloween elements. Another mod, "Saovine in Skellige," introduces a quest involving a bonfire and wraiths. The recent release of the REDkit modding tool has enabled creators to use official game assets, leading to more diverse content. This includes restoring cut content and adding new gameplay features while CD Projekt Red works on future Witcher projects.
