The Wayward Realms, an open-world RPG from Bethesda founders, is designed to run on low-end hardware, including laptops without dedicated graphics cards. The game utilizes a custom engine, not Unreal Engine 5, to ensure performance above 30 FPS on older devices and the Nintendo Switch, with rapid loading times. Developed by OnceLost Games, the RPG aims for deep player control and extensive modding support, with a Kickstarter early access planned for June 2026.
