Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" topped the South Korean box office for the Aug. 7-9 weekend, earning $10.3 million from 1,333,569 admissions across 1,798 screens, capturing a 45.13% revenue share. The film has accumulated $14.4 million since its Aug. 5 wide release. "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" placed second with $9.2 million in its second frame, reaching a $43.7 million total cume, while animated sequel "Teenieping: Legend of the Whale Heartstone" took third with $1.9 million. The weekend's collective gross of $22.9 million marked the year's biggest frame, surpassing last week's $20.8 million. Other top performers included "Hope" in fourth with $748,364 and "David" in fifth with $111,506.
