The Lodge Wadjemup recognized as a top global destination

The Lodge Wadjemup hotel on Rottnest Island has been named one of Time magazine’s 2025 World’s Greatest Places, just three months after opening. It is the only Australian hotel on the list, published on March 13. The hotel, which underwent a $40 million redevelopment, features 63 refurbished rooms and additional amenities. Forty-six more guest rooms are expected to open by mid-2025. Time magazine recognized The Lodge Wadjemup alongside other notable locations, highlighting its unique offerings and connection to Indigenous culture. The inclusion marks a significant achievement for the new venue and Western Australian tourism.
