Thanneermukkom residents fear for safety as aging water tank nears collapse

A water tank in Thanneermukkom is in a dilapidated state, posing an imminent collapse risk. The 1993-built structure, once vital for residents, is deteriorating due to age and saltwater exposure. Concrete parts are crumbling, causing fear among locals and commuters. The tank became obsolete after the arrival of Japanese water supply. Despite repeated pleas from the panchayat and representatives, no action has been taken.
