Thailand hosts fruit festival with durian buffet
A Thai fruit festival featuring a durian buffet will be held from June 19-22 to boost domestic fruit consumption and support farmers. The Department of Internal Trade (DIT) is organizing the festival at Siam Square, showcasing fresh and processed fruits directly from farmers. The event aims to attract consumers with an all-you-can-eat durian buffet and will include promotional campaigns at various retail outlets. The DIT is also collaborating with other organizations to distribute fruit, including gas stations and financial institutions. The department plans to distribute fruit boxes to farmers and is supporting both offline and online sales.
