TfL changes central London bus routes in June

Transport for London (TfL) will restructure bus routes 30, 205, and 27 in central London, impacting travel between key areas. The changes aim to improve efficiency, despite public feedback largely opposing the proposals. The alterations will require passengers to transfer buses for certain journeys, such as those traveling west of Euston on route 30. TfL cited a public consultation and acknowledged concerns about lost direct connections and potentially longer trips. The changes, effective June 21, follow a consultation with over 1,300 responses. TfL stated the changes reflect evolving route usage and aim to provide a comprehensive and cost-effective public transport service.
