Texas police arrest nine suspects in shoplifting operation near Austin mall

Austin police arrested nine suspects this week in a shoplifting operation near Lakeline Mall. The suspects allegedly stole about $7,500 in merchandise from Target, Kohl's, and Lowe's during four separate incidents. In one case, four suspects hid stolen items in a baby stroller at Kohl's. Another suspect, Javier Rios, was arrested for stealing an air conditioning unit from Lowe's. He had previous theft warrants. Other arrests included Donovan Clausen and Christina Shell, who were found with stolen goods and narcotics in their vehicle. Martin Morales was also apprehended after abandoning a cart of unpaid items at Target.
