Texas man threatens Capital One executives over debt dispute
A Texas man, Taylor Bullard, 34, allegedly threatened to attack Capital One executives with a machete and gasoline over a $543 debt. This incident follows previous threats he made against other companies, including claims of using anthrax and firearms. Bullard expressed his anger in an email to Capital One's collection agency, insisting he had already paid the debt. He has a history of making violent threats, including a 2022 voicemail threatening to shoot up a financial company's branch. He was arrested on December 20 and charged with sending threatening communications. Bullard was released on a $25,000 bond and will face trial in Virginia, where Capital One is based.
