TETRA Technologies beats Q2 revenue estimates, shares jump 12%
TETRA Technologies reported Q2 2026 revenue of $185.7 million, surpassing Wall Street's $176.16 million estimate, while adjusted earnings per share of $0.08 met expectations. Shares jumped 12.31% to $8.76 in after-hours trading following the announcement. Revenue rose 19% sequentially and 7% year-over-year, driven by growth in completion fluids and water services. Adjusted EBITDA reached $31.9 million, up 24% from Q1 but down from $36.2 million a year earlier due to a non-recurring high-margin Neptune project. International and offshore revenue hit a ten-year high despite Middle East conflict delays. The company approved its Arkansas bromine project, scheduled for completion in Q4 2027, and launched TETRA Neptune Z-Lite, a new deepwater fluid product. Management highlighted growth areas including electrolyte sales, desalination, and international flowback services, with first Neptune Z-Lite well expected in 2026.
