Tesla Cybertruck faces backlash at New Orleans Mardi Gras
Tesla's Cybertruck is becoming a polarizing symbol in the U.S. The unique design and high-profile nature of the vehicle have drawn both admiration and hostility. At New Orleans' Mardi Gras festival, the Cybertrucks were met with significant backlash. During one parade, five of the trucks, which were transporting marshals, were booed loudly by the crowd. Attendees threw beer cans, trash, and beads at the vehicles. Despite their strong appearance, two of the Cybertruck windows were damaged during the incident. A marshal noted that the experience was chaotic, saying they kept the doors locked for safety. Eventually, police had to reroute the trucks, forcing the marshals to leave the vehicles and continue on foot.
