Tesco's mature cheddar wins UK's best cheese title

Tesco's own-brand cheddar has been crowned the best in the UK, outperforming established brands like Cathedral City. A blind taste test by consumer experts at Which? awarded Tesco Finest Mature English Cheddar Cheese 78%, praising its taste and texture. Davidstow Classic Cheddar and M&S Cornish Cove Mature Cheddar followed. The test involved 76 participants rating cheeses on flavor, aroma, appearance, and texture. Cathedral City ranked fifth, alongside Pilgrims Choice.
