Terna starts authorization for Montecorvino to Benevento electricity line

Terna has begun the authorization process for a new 340 million euro electricity line connecting Montecorvino and Benevento. The project aims to strengthen the Campania region's power grid, integrating renewable sources and improving energy exchange capacity in Southern Italy. It includes 90 kilometers of new lines, with 70 kilometers underground. This initiative supports the Tyrrhenian Link project and contributes to national and European decarbonization goals, freeing up nearly 290 hectares of land.
