Tencent introduces HunyuanVideo, a new text-to-video tool for users

Tencent has launched HunyuanVideo, a new text-to-video tool, available for free to both businesses and individuals. This model features over 13 billion parameters, making it the largest open-source video generation model. HunyuanVideo aims to create high-quality, hyperrealistic videos with realistic camera angles and reflections. Demonstrations include scenes of a surfer and hot air balloons rising into the sky. This release follows OpenAI's introduction of its own video tool, Sora, earlier this year. Tencent joins other Chinese tech companies in the competitive field of AI video generation.
