Teen charged with stabbing classmate at Michigan high school

A 16-year-old has been charged with stabbing a 15-year-old student at Avondale High School in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The charges include assault with great bodily harm and carrying a concealed weapon. The incident occurred on February 4 during a fight in a school bathroom. The suspect allegedly used a kitchen knife, which was later found at the scene. The victim was treated at a local hospital and is recovering. The names of both students are not being released due to their ages. The suspect is currently held at Children’s Village.
