TCS, JNTU upskill Telangana's rural youth for IT

TCS and JNTU have partnered to launch a program in Telangana aimed at upskilling rural youth for IT jobs, addressing declining employability rates. The TCS iON Placement Success Programme will provide 20-week training to final-year students and recent graduates, focusing on technical and soft skills. The program will enroll 100 students initially and offer placement support through TCS's recruitment platform. This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry, particularly in rural areas, as the IT & Industries Minister highlighted the need to improve graduate job readiness.
