Tamil Nadu school education department orders transfer of teachers spreading caste and communal sentiments

Tamil Nadu's School Education Department has ordered the immediate transfer of teachers found spreading caste or communal sentiments among students. This directive aims to prevent disharmony and violence. The order follows recommendations from a committee led by retired Justice K. Chandru, established to foster harmony. Complaints against teachers for promoting such sentiments will be investigated promptly by Chief Educational Officers. Additional measures include protecting student scholarship details, implementing a "Magizh Mutra" group program for unity, confiscating mobile phones, and conducting Thirukkural ethics classes.
