Tall Ferns to host first home game in over five years during Trans-Tasman Throwdown series

The Tall Ferns will play their first home game in over five years during the inaugural Trans-Tasman Throwdown series. This event features double-header games between New Zealand and Australia’s top teams, starting on May 7. The series includes three games in total, with matches in Adelaide, the Sunshine Coast, and Hamilton. The Tall Ferns last played in New Zealand in November 2019, while the Opals and Boomers have not played there since 2015. Basketball officials from both countries expressed excitement about reviving the rivalry.
