Talia Appleton and Ronan Teese win first round of ProVelo Super League in Australia

The ProVelo Super League launched with its first event, the SA Kick It Willunga TT, where Talia Appleton and Ronan Teese secured victories. This new league replaces the National Road Series and features six events from January to March. Appleton, 19, won the women's time trial with a time of 8:35, finishing two seconds ahead of Katelyn Nicholson. Teese, 21, claimed the men's title in 6:51, just one second ahead of Jack Ward. The series offers opportunities for U23 winners, including a spot on the Liv-AlUla-Jayco Continental team. Upcoming races include a criterium in Adelaide and a road race at Bend Motorsport Park.
