Takashima Eight Wins Fourth Straight Itabashi Youth Baseball Title

The Takashima Eight B team won the Itabashi Ward youth baseball rookie tournament final on August 9, defeating Kajiyama Red Stars to claim their fourth consecutive title. The game was held at Arakawa Toda Bridge Baseball Field. Takashima Eight B secured the victory via a mercy rule in the fourth inning, earning the first representative spot for the Tokyo tournament. Kajiyama Red Stars took second place, while Narimasu Daini Lions won the third-place representative match against Chogo Bears. The Tokyo tournament is scheduled to open at the same venue on August 20. Takashima's strong batting lineup scored early, including a two-run homer by Chihiro Kato and a home run by Seiga Yabuta.
