Takamatsu exhibition shows student paintings of Hiroshima bombing from survivor memories

An atomic bomb panel exhibition opened in Takamatsu City, featuring high school students' paintings depicting the horrors of the Hiroshima bombing. Twenty paintings by Hiroshima Municipal Motomachi High School students are based on survivor memories. They depict the sky stained red and a white mushroom cloud on August 6, 1945, created from testimonies and rare photographs. The city holds the exhibition annually. It also includes panels on nuclear weapons and runs until August 10 at IKODE Kawaramachi in Takamatsu.
