Taiwanese Stars Hu and Chen Discover Shared Roots in Dongshi, Taichung

Taiwanese actors George Hu and Agnes Chen, known as the "Wei-Ni CP," discovered their families both originate from Dongshi, Taichung, despite Hu being born in New York. The couple married and welcomed a daughter in July. Chen initially doubted Hu's claim about his mother's hometown, testing his knowledge of the area. Their conversation revealed a pre-existing connection, which Hu called incredible, deepening their bond over a decade together. Chen credits Hu's optimistic nature for calming her anxieties during pregnancy, while she admires his unique perspective. Despite life changes, Chen says they remain the same, with Hu summarizing their relationship simply as "love."
