Taiwan PCB makers pivoting from consumer electronics to AI and satellite products are reaping rewards. Zhen Ding's July revenue hit a record NT$17.6 billion, up 31.8% year-on-year. Peer Compeq posted second-quarter revenue of NT$19.99 billion, up 9.84% annually, with net profit rising 77.86% to NT$1.479 billion on smartphone and satellite orders. Zhen Ding's server, optical-module, and IC-substrate revenue doubled; both firms expect a stronger second half. The shift follows accelerating AI data-center construction and low-orbit satellite deployment, including Starship launches and V3 satellite deployments.
