Taiwan faces many recall votes against KMT legislators

Twenty-nine recall petitions against Kuomintang legislators have completed the second-stage signature submission, with the first wave of votes expected in early July. These petitions, targeting various lawmakers, are now entering the third stage, with an estimated minimum of twenty-five cases proceeding to a vote. The remaining six cases are still pending submission. The recall process involves a 40-day review period after the second-stage submission, followed by a vote within 20 to 60 days of the petition's approval.
