Syracuse football gains commitment from twin brother of current player, leads nation in verbal pledges
Davion Kerr, twin brother of Syracuse defensive back Davien Kerr, has verbally committed to the Syracuse Orange for the Class of 2025. He announced his decision on social media, listing himself as a 6-foot-1, 180-pound wide receiver/defensive back. This commitment marks the 31st verbal pledge for Syracuse, leading all schools in the country. The Orange currently ranks sixth in the Atlantic Coast Conference for the Class of 2025, according to 247 Sports Composite Rankings. Davien Kerr has played in three games this season for Syracuse, while his brother is completing a post-graduate year at St. Thomas More in Connecticut. Verbal commitments are not binding until a financial aid agreement is signed, starting February 5.
