Suze Rotolo, muse for Bob Dylan, inspires Elle Fanning's character in new biopic

Suze Rotolo, an Italian-American artist, was the muse for Bob Dylan in the early 1960s. She is best known for her appearance on the cover of Dylan's album, *The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan*. Their relationship inspired several of his classic songs. Rotolo's character is portrayed by Elle Fanning in the new biopic *A Complete Unknown*, which focuses on Dylan's early years. The film renames her character Sylvie Russo, reflecting her political activism and artistic background, while maintaining the essence of Rotolo's influence on Dylan. Rotolo published her memoir, *A Freewheelin’ Time*, in 2008, sharing her experiences in Greenwich Village. She passed away in 2011, but her legacy continues through her art and the impact she had on Dylan's music.
