Susanna Hoffs reflects on identity crisis after motherhood and releases new album

Susanna Hoffs, lead singer of The Bangles, shared her experience of an "identity crisis" after becoming a mother in the 1990s. She felt torn between her family life and her music career, leading to a reflective period. Recently, Hoffs released a solo album titled "The Lost Record," featuring songs recorded in her garage in 1999. She had shelved these recordings due to personal and professional conflicts but now feels a strong connection to the material. In addition to her new album, Hoffs has been active in music and writing, having released her fifth solo album and her first novel last year. She continues to pursue her passion for art and music.
