Survey shows 41% of Filipinos support impeaching Vice President Sara Duterte

A recent survey shows that 41% of Filipinos support impeaching Vice President Sara Duterte, while 35% oppose it, and 19% are undecided. The survey was conducted from December 12 to 18, 2024. Support for impeachment is highest in Balance Luzon at 50% and lowest in Mindanao at 22%. Concerns over unexplained spending of confidential funds are cited as a key reason for the impeachment push. Three impeachment complaints have been filed against Duterte since early December. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has advised Congress not to pursue her impeachment.
