The survey, based on data from owners of vehicles up to five years old, assessed reliability by examining reported issues, repair costs, and downtime. The MINI Electric, produced between 2020 and 2024, achieved a 98.4% reliability rating, with few owners reporting problems. The Nissan Leaf and BMW i4 also performed well, with reliability ratings of 95.6% and 95.5% respectively, though they experienced more reported issues, primarily minor ones, than the MINI.
