Support group for visually impaired in Pune fosters community through art

A support group for the visually impaired in Pune has grown from a small initiative into a vibrant community. Founded by Aishwarya Mulay in 2021, it offers a space for sharing stories, music, and dance, helping participants find joy and purpose. Participants, like Rekha Pachpor and her son Tejas, have experienced positive changes. Tejas has become more cheerful and improved academically since joining the group. Many others have also found hope and support through these gatherings. Mulay started the group after recognizing a lack of resources for those facing sudden vision loss. The group now attracts many members, providing a vital support network for individuals adjusting to their new realities.
