The app, created by architect Mo Dawod, uses real-time shadow simulation and building height data to accurately determine which establishments are sunlit at any given time. Users can explore the map interactively or plan ahead by setting a specific time. Sunseekr initially focused on cafes but now includes pubs, with plans to expand to restaurants and a mobile app. The map also indicates shaded areas for those seeking respite from the sun.
