Substitute teachers get up to 50% off Greek ferry tickets for 2026-2027

Substitute teachers in Greece will receive discounts of up to 50% on ferry tickets for the 2026-2027 school year, with terms varying by company. The initiative covers travel during specific periods, including placement phases and holidays. Discounts of 50% are offered by SEAJETS, Levante Ferries, Goutos Lines, Minoan Lines, and Attica Group, covering passengers and vehicles. Fast Ferries and Golden Star Ferries provide 30% passenger discounts, while Dodekanisos Seaways offers 30% on tickets only. Eligible teachers must present their appointment decision and ID when purchasing tickets and boarding. The program results from collaboration between the Education and Shipping Ministries to support educators' travel needs.
