Studio Mappa launches unique isekai anime Zenshu about animator's journey
Studio Mappa has released a new anime titled "Zenshu," which follows animator Natsuko Hirose as she navigates the challenges of creating an anime. The show unexpectedly combines the production process with the isekai genre, where Natsuko is transported into her favorite childhood anime. In the first episode, Natsuko struggles with her work and personal life before dying and being isekai'd into the fantasy world of the anime she admired. There, she discovers she can redraw scenes to alter the story, showcasing her animation skills. "Zenshu" offers a fresh take on the isekai genre, blending humor with insights into the animation industry. New episodes are available every Sunday on Crunchyroll.
