Stratolaunch video shows successful Talon-A2 hypersonic flight, recovery

Stratolaunch released a video showcasing the successful second hypersonic flight and recovery of its Talon-A2 aircraft, demonstrating its reusable capabilities. The Talon-A2, launched from the "Roc" aircraft, reached hypersonic speeds and was recovered at Vandenberg Space Force Base after its March 24 flight. This mission included payloads and experiments, building on the success of the December 2024 flight. Stratolaunch, founded in 2011, aims to advance hypersonic technology. A new launch platform is being developed, with the Talon-A3 expected to fly later this year.
