Store nuclear waste where people support nuclear power

A proposal to store nuclear waste in areas with the highest support for nuclear power has gained traction. The proposal, which gained over 5,000 signatures, suggests placing waste in the top three counties that voted in favor of restarting a nuclear plant. This aims to reduce social conflict and facilitate nuclear policy. However, the counties with the highest approval rates, Kinmen, Lienchiang, and Miaoli, have either opposed or not responded to the proposal.
