Steve Smith now owns England's most 50+ scores

Australian batter Steve Smith now holds the record for the most 50+ scores by a non-English batter in Test matches played in England. Smith achieved this milestone during the World Test Championship final, scoring a half-century to bring his total to 18 scores of 50 or more in 23 Tests on English soil. He surpassed previous record holders Allan Border and Viv Richards, who each had 17. Additionally, Smith has also become the non-English batter with the most Test runs at Lord's, surpassing Warren Bardsley. The current match is between Australia and South Africa.
