Staten Island's Italian Club honors five at jubilee

The Italian Club of Staten Island will celebrate its 75th anniversary with a Diamond Jubilee Gala on June 7, honoring five individuals for their contributions. The event will be held at LiGreci’s Staaten. Michael Assenza, Dr. Anthony Carter, Maria Romania Lindh, Daniel Macri, and Anthony Maniscalco will be recognized for their dedication to the Italian Club. The gala will feature entertainment and is accepting sponsorships. Founded in 1950 by eight Staten Islanders, the Italian Club aims to promote Italian culture and community involvement. The club has awarded over $225,000 in scholarships.
