Stardew Valley adds eight unique farm types in latest update

Stardew Valley now offers eight different farm types following the 1.6 update, each with unique features and skills. Players must choose a farm type at the start, as this decision cannot be changed later. The Standard Farm is the easiest for beginners, providing the most tillable land. The Riverland Farm focuses on fishing, while the Forest Farm is ideal for foraging. The Hill-top Farm includes a quarry for mining, and the Wilderness Farm allows for farming with combat challenges. The Four Corners Farm is designed for multiplayer, while the Beach Farm is challenging due to its sandy soil. The new Meadowlands Farm features Blue Grass and starts with two chickens, enhancing animal care.
