Stalker harassed British actress Nicola Thorp with death threats

British actress Nicola Thorp was stalked and harassed online for years, receiving death threats and sexually explicit messages from an individual using multiple fake accounts. This caused her significant fear and distress. The stalker, Ravinderjit Dhillon, sent violent and obscene messages, including threats of rape and death, using 27 different fake accounts. Thorp, known for her role in "Coronation Street," reported the harassment to the police, who eventually identified and arrested Dhillon. Dhillon was sentenced to 30 months in prison for the stalking. Thorp, who advocates for women's rights, had opened her Instagram DMs to help others, which made her a target.
