Spring survivor advocates for colon cancer awareness and research
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and Jeremy Echols, a 33-year-old survivor from Spring, Texas, is sharing his story to raise awareness. He was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer and is now advocating for more research. Echols recently met with members of Congress in Washington, D.C., to push for a fund dedicated to colon cancer research. He aims to inform young people that colon cancer can affect them too. Echols is also featured in a national awareness campaign with Fight CRC this month, highlighting the importance of awareness and research in combating the disease.
