Sphere Fluidics launches Cyto-Mine Chroma for advanced single-cell analysis

Sphere Fluidics has introduced the Cyto-Mine® Chroma, an advanced platform for single-cell analysis. This new system uses multi-laser technology to enhance the sorting and dispensing of cells, achieving over 90% accuracy in isolating specific cell populations. The Cyto-Mine® Chroma can analyze millions of cells daily, improving workflows in antibody discovery and cell line development. It effectively isolates rare cells that produce specific antibodies while maintaining cell viability and performance. This platform builds on its predecessor by incorporating four lasers and detectors, allowing for more complex multiplexing. The studies demonstrate its reliability in detecting antibody secretion and distinguishing between live and dead cells.
