SpaceX launched 24 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit on Aug. 4, marking the 90th Falcon 9 flight of 2026. The rocket lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 1:05 p.m. EDT. The first stage landed on the droneship "Of Course I Still Love You" about 8.5 minutes after launch, completing the 34th mission for booster B1063. This is two flights shy of the Falcon 9 reuse record set last month. The 24 satellites will deploy about 61 minutes after liftoff, joining nearly 10,900 spacecraft in the Starlink megaconstellation. This was the 70th Starlink-dedicated mission of the year. SpaceX also planned a webcast later today for its first public earnings report.
