SP 91 road works complete after €4M investment secures landslide-prone stretch in Italy

ilrestodelcarlino.it (Italian) —

Work on the SP 91 road in Italy has concluded after a €4 million investment, securing a fragile stretch of the route. The project addressed a landslide and road collapse. The main intervention, costing around €2 million, fixed a section between kilometers 11+500 and 11+650 where a landslide had been active since December 2017. A second project resolved a May 2023 landslide near Albuceto, with both works funded by PNRR resources. Provincial President Giorgio Zanni said the work completes a years-long effort on a particularly fragile section. Mayor Enrico Ferretti called the SP 91 a vital artery for connections across the ridge, beyond linking individual villages.
