South Korea's National Intelligence Service reported that over 1,000 North Korean soldiers are being transported to Russia to support its military in Ukraine. The intelligence agency shared photos showing Russian ships moving troops and ammunition from North Korea to Vladivostok. The NIS also noted that North Korean soldiers are receiving Russian uniforms and fake identification to disguise their origins. Transport planes have been observed flying regularly between Pyongyang and Vladivostok. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed North Korea's involvement, stating that tactical personnel have been sent to Ukraine. However, NATO and U.S. officials have not confirmed direct North Korean troop deployments in the conflict.
